Replaces Calasept EDTA 17%
17% EDTA root canal irrigation. EDTA is used for removing the smear layer and open up the dentin tubules during endodontic treatment. EDTA has a high affinity for dentine and dissolves calcium which enables the removal of the smear layer that has formed during instumentation of the root canal. By removing the smear layer and opening up the dentine tubules the disinfection solutions can work better and the final root filling and sealer will have a better adhesion to the tooth har substance. pH 8,5.
