OUR VETERINARIANS ARE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS AT THE CLINIC

• Assess whether the animal needs to be referred to a specialist.
• Interpret and perform intraoral X-ray examinations on dogs and cats.
• Develop an individual therapy plan for the animal.
• Extract all teeth in an atraumatic way with both closed and open techniques.
• Use a dental turbine (high speed) in a safe way and be able to perform simple filling therapy (bonding).
• Have good knowledge and diagnose the most common oral problems.
• Have knowledge of and, if necessary, be able to remove damaged pulp (primary cleaning) and apply a temporary dressing for referral to a colleague to continue treatment.
• Advising – Provide advice on preventive dental care, injury prevention, and the need for postoperative home care.
• Root treatment on single and multi-root teeth.
• Bite problems – Be able to diagnose and treat the most common problems with fixed appliance, such as an incline plane, and apply brackets and chain if needed.
• Be able to fix jaw fractures with splinting technique.
• ENT – Perform BOS surgery.
• Plastic in case of oronasal fistulas.
• Removal of hyperplasia/tumours and diagnosis of these.
